DARKE COUNTY — Two people were injured in a crash in Darke County on Saturday morning.

It was reported at the intersection of U.S. 127 and State Route 503 around 10:25 a.m.

Our News Center 7 crew at the scene reported seeing two SUVs being towed away. Images from the scene show that both had significant damage.
In an update on Saturday afternoon, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office said a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was going south on U.S. 127 when it was hit by a white GMC Yukon that had been going northwest on SR 503.
Investigators said the driver of the GMC failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection.
The impact caused both SUVs to go off the right side of the road, and caused the GMC to hit the house.
The driver of the Jeep, a 48-year-old New Madison woman, and the driver of the GMC, a 29-year-old West Milton woman, were both transported to area hospitals for their injuries.
