DAYTON — A driver was injured after a car hit a guardrail in Dayton early Sunday.

Dayton officers and medics responded at 2:10 a.m. to a reported crash on Ridge Avenue near Riverside Drive, according to a Dayton Police crash report.

An initial investigation revealed that a 44-year-old woman drove a 2005 black Buick Century west on Ridge Avenue. The car was travelling at an unknown speed.
The driver reportedly lost control of the Buick. It crossed the centerline and hit the end of a guardrail, the crash report stated.
The car sustained disabling front-end damage.
Medics transported the woman to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
