When crews got to the scene, they found smoke coming from a vault outside of the building.

“When we find these, they’re typically just electrical. That’s what we found here,” Wiley said, adding there was no extension to the building.

No injuries were reported.

AES was working to shut the power off so firefighters could let the fire burn out and put some water on it.

Dayton Police & Fire shared on social media that Second Street was closed between Main and Ludlow streets while crews were on the scene.
