MORAINE — UPDATE @ 11:20 P.M.
Officers evacuated shoppers after a reported bomb and active shooter threat at the Moraine Walmart.

As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, officers responded to the Moraine Walmart on Dorothy Lane just before 8 p.m.

Officers received a report of a bomb and active shooting threat, police officials told our news crew.
An iWitness7 viewer sent three videos. They show several Moraine Police officers in front of the Moraine Walmart.
One video showed customers leaving the store with alarms going off in the background.
Our news crew saw several fire trucks also at the scene.
News Center 7 contacted Walmart, and they sent back the following statement.
“The safety of our associates and customers is a top priority. We will work closely with law enforcement as they investigate,” said the Walmart Press Office.
Sergeant Andrew Dyer told our news crew that Moraine Police will continue investigating.
“Unfortunately, these bomb threats have been happening, it seems like, more frequently, really throughout the state. It seems like you read the news every day and someone somewhere has done it.”
The Moraine Walmart is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday.
